Went on a weekday afternoon and it was packed. Managed to grab the two last seats at the large table. The coffee and pink latte were good! Got a cookie too that hit the spot. When I got hungry, I ordered the large soup of the day which was delicious! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Would go back but not to count on a spot if I’m going to be working a little since space is limited and might not be able to get one. Atmosphere is nice and cozy, high ceilings and good lighting.

I love good priced quality coffee and they definitely have this here! The beans are usually light roasted or medium roasted with focus on quality taste! Service is always welcoming and warm. In tough times like 2025 we need to support local businesses more than ever! Montreal need more cafes like this that really focus on high end coffee and good service! I have now come here over 10 times and every time is a pleasure, support this place they deserve it

In Montreal for a week and this was my favorite place to grab coffee and morning eats. Easily one of the best coffee joints I’ve been to a in a minute. The gentleman who works the coffee counter is SO NICE and makes a mean latte. They also have puzzles at different tables which was really fun to do when hanging out. Will make a point to stop by here if I’m in Montreal again.

Perfect place to spend a rainy afternoon. The guy at the counter who is also the waiter was great. The food was good as well and the mimosas. I came here as I saw they have books and the variety is good as well.

Amazinggg coffee shop, I recently discovered this spot and was absolutely blown away :) They have an aesthetically pleasing, modern and cozy atmosphere with floor to ceiling windows, a projector playing movies and a small tree inside. The staff is lovely, the coffee is top-tier, the food is delicious (do yourself a favour and try the egg salad sandwich)! I'm on a mission to try everything on their menu. It's one of the only coffee shops that closes late in the area (which I love), and it’s so versatile! Perfect to relax and read a book (they have a library), study/work (lots of tables), or for an after work "5 a 7" (yes, they also have wineee)! I'm really happy to have found Paper Hill, I have no doubt it will quickly become a must of the Montreal coffee crawl scene :)

I’ve been to Paperhill a bunch of times, and it keeps hitting the mark. The drinks are great every time, and the blueberry matcha is seriously the best I’ve had. It’s just the right amount of sweet and super refreshing. The vibe here is awesome. I love the book-themed decor and how cozy everything feels. It’s also really nice that they limit laptop use. You’re not surrounded by people on Zoom calls or typing away like it’s a co-working space. It actually feels like a cafe where you can relax or catch up with a friend. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. The food is tasty, the portions are solid, and while it’s a bit on the pricier side, it’s totally worth it for the experience. Definitely one of my favorite spots!

Really nice spot in the Old Port. Modern look but still feels cozy and relaxed. Coffee is excellent, food is fresh, flavourful. They also do 5 a 7s with local DJs which gives the place a cool vibe in the evenings. Great mix of cafe and buvette. Definitely worth checking out.
